Changes to my study programme

 If I'd have to make changes to my study programme probably would be just a little, I really think is good right now. 

For me, the humanistic themes are really important, and the actual curriculum includes a lot of social topics as the last one which was more scientific, that's a big plus in my opinion. Maybe I would change some pre-requirements from some courses and divide in two parts others more extense that have a lot of content which makes it difficult. Besides that, like I said, the actual curriculum is good as it is.

The infrastructure of the faculty is the most beautiful between them all, it stands out for its green areas and its old buildings, that seems good to me, still they needs some maintainment just like the electronic equipment, we had a lot of problems with classes that needed a better equipment.

Speaking of the teachers and their methods, I like the way they teach, especially this semester which was good in this aspect because they focused on what we will have to do as professionals. It was theoretical but really useful for practice.

I have had good courses in my career, some repetitive but it's not a big problem, I also don't agree with the exaggerated workload because I need time for myself but in general I think it is a good study programme :)

Blog 4: Time travel to past or future

If I've the possibility of traveling in time, I'd like to go to the past and the future because I'm very curious and I'd like to know how technology will be like and what will happen to the future, in the context of Climate Change. Speaking about the past, I also want to know things that we don't know for sure because we don't live in that era, for example, some historical processes, just if I can be present when the historical moment happened. Both options sound good to me, but if I've to choose, I could say traveling back in time.

I'd like to go to the Jurassic period to see how dinosaurs looks like and watch the large animals and the nature of that era. Obviously I only want to go to this period if I can be sure that I won't die and can return to the present because it must be impossible to live there with my survival skills.

Another thing I'd like to do traveling to the past is to reveal myths from different times such as the construction of the pyramids in Egypt, discover if some stories around some religions are true, and other similar things. I'm not sure if I'll want to share with people the truth because maybe the life will be boring without theories and beliefs, but probably I'll give the information anyways hehe.

Blog 3: My dream job

 My dream job... I'm not sure what I would like to do in the future, but I have always been a big fan of teaching :). Before studying my career (IRNR), I thought that studying pedagogy and being a history or physics teacher, I know, are very different haha, but I really liked teaching my friends and trying different study methods so they could learn. It was very funny.

At this moment, in addition to education, I really like the conservation of ecosystems and topics such as bioculture, so my plan is to mix both and do something related to environmental education. The perfect mix to do the things I love.

Since I began studying my career I always thought that current socioecological problems are due to poor education specifically in environmental terms and that is my motivation to try to do something and change people's perception so that they want to take care of nature.

I'm not sure how much I will have as salary, I never thought about it because I'm still not sure about what i want to do, but I really hope it's enough to survive hehe.

Whatever I'm going to do, I hope it goes well, enjoy it as well, and be very happy with that job.

Blog 2: The best concert ever

I don't have many options to choose from but I can say that the best concert I attended was Paul McCartney's on his Freshen up world tour in March 2019 at the National Stadium when I was 16.

This concert was really special for me because during my childhood I was a big fan of The Beatles because of my family, they always listened to a lot of classic rock music which influenced my musical taste.

I decided to go to his concert that time, after three times he came to Chile, because to his soon to be retired as an artist and I wanted to see his performance once in my life. The atmosphere was very special and nostalgic and also very familiar... Unfortunately I went alone for financial reasons but I really wanted to go with my family, at that moment I thought "next time I'll go with all of them" but probably 2023 will be his last show as a singer and Chile is not on his list :(

Blog 1: A country you would like to visit

Greece is on the top of countries I would like to go. Its particular architecture, beautiful places, and the history around this country call my full attention.

Apart from the amazing views of the Greek islands, the history around this country is something very characteristic and recognized because of its influence on the global culture; I think we all had a history class on ancient Greece in school. The former features, along with the culture of that time and its mythology, makes this place very interesting for me. For that reason, one of the places I would go is Athens to see the most iconic monuments, like Acropolis.

Moreover, I’d like to visit one of the islands, which would probably be Skópelos. Additionally, as a fun fact one of my favorite movies, "Mamma Mia!", was filmed in that place!! :)

Since I want to travel and visit a lot of places, I would probably just go on vacation for touristic purposes.
